Biography
Anne Andersdatter was born on May 9, 1851 in Egtved, Vejle, Denmark. She was the fourth of six children. When she was still a baby, her mother, Abelona Knudsen, joined the Church, and, in 1855, they left Denmark to immigrate to Utah. Anne crossed the Atlantic safely, although her older brother died on the journey. However, she passed away in St. Louis, before her family had started their journey across the plains to Utah. She was only not yet five years old. Anne was buried in St. Louis, and her family continued on their way to Utah without her.
