Biography
Pauline Andrea Paulson was born on January 8, 1875 in Lademoen, Trondheim, Norway to Marit Jacobsdatter Bøe and Erich Poulsen Vaalen Tarud. She was their youngest child. Pauline’s father suddenly passed away in 1877, leaving her mother with five children to raise. In 1882, Pauline immigrated to Utah with her mother and siblings. Pauline married Harrison Ward Parker on March 28, 1894 in Ogden, Utah. They had eleven children together throughout the years. Pauline lived in Salt Lake City for the rest of her life, but often traveled to visit family and friends in places like Los Angeles, California. Pauline died on October 18, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah and was buried in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
